Healthy Hounds & Fat Cats is Durango’s original dog daycare. In addition to dog daycare and boarding, we also offer self- service dog wash and full-service dog grooming. We will also be offering a private indoor/outdoor fully fenced dog park soon.
We are currently offering full service dog grooming on a limited basis. Please call to make an appointment. We will need proof of current vaccinations including Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, Leptospirosis, and Rabies. Canine Influenza is recommended (and is required for daycare and boarding).
Nail trims are offered Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Most nail trims do not need an appointment- just come on in! But if your pet is a bit more difficult, please call ahead. We can trim dog’s or cat’s nails. This service is $15 per pet.
The self-service dog wash is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It is first come, first served. We provide shampoo, towels, brushes and nail clippers, aprons, and a blow dryer. We can even help you get your dog into the tub! The tubs are stainless steel and raised with stairs or ramps for easy access and can accommodate the largest breeds. Baths are limited to 30 minutes. Please check with us if you will need more time. We also offer a quick “mud rinse”. Full bath is $19, a quick mud rinse is $9.
Coming soon! We will provide a fully fenced dog park and an indoor playroom for you and your pet! Come hang out with your dog and make some new friends. Proof of vaccinations and a release form are required. Please pick up after your pet, and keep your cell phone in your pocket. Intact pets over one year old, and females in heat at any age will not be allowed.
